Sunday Services in Church (Updated)

We are thankful that the restrictions coming into force on 14 September do not affect places of worship, so we will still be able to meet in church at both 10am and 6pm. As before, you will need to book your seat/s beforehand.

Please use the buttons below to do so, and also read this document which explains more about what you can expect and what you need to do if you would like to come along. Our remote services will continue as well.

10am Service           6pm Service
Please note that each week, from Monday afternoon, you will be able to book for the services on the coming Sunday only.

Sunday Remote Services

Each week we record a service which you can listen to or download. You may also find it helpful to print or download the service sheet.

Click here to listen or here to download and here for the service sheet for 18 October.

The songs are all included in the service.

All of our previous services are also available on our media page

Finding hope in a COVID-19 world

The Covid-19 pandemic is confronting us with many difficult experiences and it may be that it is raising big questions in our minds about life and death.  If you would like to explore these questions further, the website includes blogs and videos which address different aspects of our experience as we live in lockdown and battle Covid-19. It has been produced to help you find hope during these difficult days.

If you need someone to talk to, or simply need help with an urgent supply run, you can contact us via the church office 0118 976 0285 / We will respond to messages as soon as we can.

Meanwhile, please be assured of our prayers as we look to God as ‘our strength and refuge, an ever-present help in trouble’ (Psalm 46:1)

Julian Bidgood (Minister of Barkham)

We are people of all ages who want to know Jesus Christ better and tell others about Him.

Welcome to Barkham Church

We are a family of very ordinary people, brought together by the conviction that the living God has revealed himself in Jesus Christ, and still speaks to us today through the Bible.

We warmly welcome all those who want to investigate Christianity and those who want to know how to keep on following Jesus.

We long to serve the people of Barkham and the wider area.

We are an evangelical church, and part of the Church of England
