Montague Park
We aim to be people who go out and meet people where they already are, as individuals, as Life Groups and as a church, rather than putting all our efforts into events which invite people in. That means we have taken been particularly active in the new communities like Montague Park where residents welcome anything that helps community building.
Montague Park Community Centre
The new community centre at Montague Park is due to be completed during 2018. At present it will be handed over as an empty shell with no internal fittings. Therefore, we have offered to partner with the council to ensure that the empty shell is turned into a fully functioning facility that Christ Church could manage on behalf of the community. We have established a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Christ Church Wokingham Outreach) in order to manage the centre.
