Sunday Services in Church (Updated July 2021)

We are thankful that we are able to meet in church at both 10am and 6pm, and also that we are now able to lift some of our Covid restrictions, in line with the Government’s lifting of lockdown from 19 July 2021.  However, we are only changing our own Covid restrictions gradually, since we want to help as many people as possible to feel safe to join us on Sundays.  So, for now, we are maintaining social distancing within the building.  We are also continuing to ask those who come along to wear face coverings (unless they are exempt from this), while moving around the building and also while singing and speaking during the services inside the building too.  Continuing with social distancing means that you will still need to book your seat/s beforehand.  We now singing together inside the building (although, when the weather is good, we aim to head outside to sing our final song together, without masks, in the churchyard).

Please use the buttons below to book places for the following Sunday.

Sunday Remote Services

Each week we will broadcast a live audio version of the 10am service on Zoom. We will also make this recording available for you to listen to or download via the website (we’ll aim to do this by early each Sunday afternoon). You may also find it helpful to print or download the service sheet.

These recordings, along with all our previous services are available on our media page

Finding hope in a COVID-19 world

The Covid-19 pandemic is confronting us with many difficult experiences and it may be that it is raising big questions in our minds about life and death.  If you would like to explore these questions further, the website https://lookforhope.org/ includes blogs and videos which address different aspects of our experience as we live in lockdown and battle Covid-19. It has been produced to help you find hope during these difficult days.

If you need someone to talk to, or simply need help with an urgent supply run, you can contact us via the church office 0118 976 0285 / office@abch.org.uk. We will respond to messages as soon as we can.

Meanwhile, please be assured of our prayers as we look to God as ‘our strength and refuge, an ever-present help in trouble’ (Psalm 46:1)
