Church at the White House School

Who are we?

We are people just like you, of all ages.  We believe that God has spoken perfectly in his Son Jesus Christ.

So, with so much confusion, superficiality and despair in our world, we believe we have good news to share.

We have experienced the undeserved favour of God that can be found through Jesus Christ.

When do we meet?
We meet every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. in the school hall.

What goes on?

If you have never been to church before we try to make everything easy to follow. If you are used to church, we have an informal approach but we are Anglican with an ordained minister.

Also we aim to support and nurture our children in the Christian faith through Crèche, (0-2), Sparklers (2-5), Sunday Club (5-10), and Lasers (10-14).

During the week, many find great help by being part of a small group, where most of our pastoral care takes place. Ask a member of the welcome team about these groups, phone the church office on 01189760285, or call one of the church contacts

Why do we do this?

We believe Jesus Christ is the most important person ever to walk this planet. We believe He is good news for all of us. As we consider what the Bible teaches about Him we find answers to the big questions of life:

- Who am I?
- What happens when I die?
- Why is there so much suffering in the world?
- How can we deal with issues like guilt and forgiveness?

What if I don't believe ?

You are welcome!

“Christianity Explored” is a course where all questions are welcome however sceptical. We meet in a range of locations to examine together the teaching of Jesus of Nazareth.

Our next course begins in the New Year 2008. Do come along and bring a friend. Why not check out the course at christianityexplored.com
Contact Rev John Parker on 0118 976 028 or john@abch.org.uk for course details.

Thank You
We would like to thank the White House School for allowing us to use their premises on a Sunday, and St Paul's Church, Wokingham, for their encouragement.
