We are dedicated as a church to helping anyone who visits us to find out more about Jesus Christ. Some of us have been Christians for many years; some have come to faith recently. If you would like to investigate the Christian faith but are unsure how to do so, then do consider our Christianity Explored Courses. These are for 6 weeks where informal discussion and all questions are welcome. We discuss Mark's gospel so that we can look at the teaching of Jesus for ourselves.
If you are already a disciple of Jesus we aim to encourage and support your walk in faith. After a short period of time with us, we hope that you will discover ways to become involved and feel part of the church family. We are very happy to talk to you on Sunday mornings to explain more about who we are as a church or to visit you at your convenience. Do make use of the information on the website to find out more about us.
We hope you will enjoy our informal approach and yet feel reassured that we are an established Anglican Church that seeks to be welcoming to all who cross our path.
Rev John Parker.
Mission – we are a church that wants to take the teaching of Jesus Christ in the bible as our guide in everything we believe and everything we do. This means that central to our mission is to know Christ as revealed in the bible and also to tell others, by what we say and what we do, of his ultimate importance in the universe. We meet on sundays to be encouraged in the mission we seek to live out in our lives the rest of the week. We want to grow in our Christian maturity and in numbers so that we can reach others who have never heard or understood what Christ has done for us and can do for anyone who comes to him.
Passion for Life
We are involved with other churches in a national initiative to share the good news of Jesus locally. We are praying already and working in small groups to connect with the community and communicate the message of Easter leading up to Easter 2010. We are planning many events where people can be brought into contact with our community and the good news of Jesus Christ. See more here
