Licensing of Julian Bidgood - Barkham - 22nd June

China and Burma
The devastation caused by the cyclone and tidal surge which hit Burma and the earthquake in China has shocked the whole world. The suffering is beyond imagining; in Burma Barnabas Fund estimate 100,000 dead, a million homeless and no one knows how many lacking food and fresh water.

Both OMF and Barnabas Fund are working with Christian partners to ensure that help is channelled quickly and efficiently to those affected. They both have good websites giving details about how to pray and how to give. Please consider acting now. www.omf.org.uk www.barnabasfund.org.uk

Holiday Bible Club - 28th July - lst August
Booking … …
HBC booking has opened, and forms are available to download here. Please use the hard copies of the forms (at the back of church) as invitations to give to parents of children who do not come to church. We want to reach as many as possible with the gospel of Jesus and HBC provides each of us with a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbours who have children.

Recruitment … …
We still need a number of people to join the team. In particular we need people to work with small groups of children in the mornings.

If you are available for any part of the week - Monday through Friday, 28th July to 1st August - please contact Theresa Swan to discuss possibilities.
