Licensing of Julian Bidgood - Barkham - 22nd June We are delighted that Julian will be licensed by the Bishop of Reading, as Minister for Barkham Church on Sunday, 22nd June at 9.30 am. Please make every effort to come along if you're part of the Barkham 9.30 congregation or Sundays@7, and do listen out for ways that we can serve on the day.A crèche will be provided for children aged 3 and under, and children's activities provided for children aged 4 -14 yrs. Refreshments will be served after the service in Barkham village hall.Jesus Video Project Please continue to pray that those who have accepted copies of the 'Jesus' film will watch them, and for the follow-up visits in the next few weeks. Do thank God that already some people are expressing an interest in 'Christianity Explored' courses, and pray for plenty more of the same! Holiday Bible Club - 28th July - lst August HBC booking opens this week-end. Forms are available here. Please use the hard copies of the forms (in church this week-end) as invitations to give to parents of children who do not come to church - this is a good moment to invite ahead of half-term when many will be planning arrangements for summer holidays. We want to reach as many as possible with the gospel of Jesus and HBC provides each of us with a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbours who have children. Child Protection Training If you are involved in working with children and young people in our churches and weren't able to go to the recent and excellent Child Protection Training evening provided by the Diocese, you might like to know that a further course is being provided on Saturday 5 July, from 10:30am to 1pm, at St Peters, Oaklands, Yateley, GU46 7GA. Barkham Church Quiz Night Please come along to a fun evening and get those little grey cells working! All welcome.
