IFES is a fellowship of a third of a million students, staff and supporters. They work with one goal: to bring glory to God by establishing a vibrant gospel witness among students in every nation.
IFES currently works in 150 countries, seeing unimaginable growth over the last 15 years - though the hardest challenges are still ahead particularly in Islamic nations.

Mission
* Evangelism - proclaiming Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and God to students in every country in the world, and leading students to personal faith in Christ;
* ‘Formacion' - a Spanish word for nurture or discipleship training - promoting a life of discipleship among students associated with their movements and equipping them for a lifetime service in the family, church and society;
* World Mission - encouraging students to take the good news of Jesus Christ to every nation on earth, and become witnessing communities of salt and light in every area of society and culture.

How does OMF relate to the local community and church?
All IFES national movements seek to present a culturally relevant witness to Christ, working in close partnership with the Church in their country wherever possible.

What does their staff do?
IFES staff aim to provide biblical models of leadership and ministry, where possible encouraging students to take on leadership responsibility of their own.
