St James, Barkham

We meet at 9:30 every Sunday morning and also at 7:00pm for Sundays@7

The 9:30am congregation involves people from all ages and stages of life. We have a Children’s ministry which seeks to help parents to teach their children about Jesus. Our intention is that the 9.30 congregation is a place where we can explore the Christian faith regardless of background or belief and come to know that Jesus calls the shots and to live under his loving rule as the only one who can rescue us.

In a nutshell, the reason we get together is to meet one another, to engage with God through the bible, to pray, and to praise God in worship. We seek to strengthen one another in order to exalt the Lord Jesus in every part of our lives. We seek to encourage one another to take the bible seriously and to engage with what God says about life and work and relationships.

The first Sunday of the month is slightly different as there are no children’s groups. We all stay together which is great but noisy. Our aim is to welcome people in and to build people up. After the service on the first Sundays of the month there is a brunch at 10. 30am to which everyone is invited.

We’d love you to come and find out what God is doing among us, and we would love you to be part of it.
